This picture reminds me the Summer of year 2001, when I did lots of fishing at a small lake called "Lake Martin".  Now I miss that small lake so much.

It was about 8 pm in the evening,  I caught a big catfish right before I planned to leave. It was quite an unexpected delay, and I was trying to get him out of water faster than I should. When the fish got close and saw me, he ran crazy and dived deep and crossed around the pole of the pier. After about 5 minutes' helpless struggle on both end of the fish line, I decided to dive into the water for a "show down" solution. It was Mid-October, and the water was very cool in the evening. I slipped along the pole deeper and deeper into the water...after several times groping I thought I knew pretty much what was happening under the water. I took a deep breath and dived hard---about 4 meters deep into the water---huge pressure around my ears. I was determined, reached the fish and helped him around the pole with patience. I stayed under the water for about 40 seconds---my fishing partners said it was so long to them that they almost dial 911. Whe I floated with the cat, the fishing net was right waiting beside me.

I climbed out of the water and dashed toward the bathroom for change---it was damn cold. People swarmed in and my partner showed them the big cat with great pride. People responsed "no, we are here not to see the fish, we want to see the guy who picked it up."

Four years past I still consider this as one of the "well done" stories of mine. I doubt if this happened to me tomorrow, whether I'll dive into the water again.
